It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of Anna Pike.
Anna was a much loved member of the friends group since is foundation, she was such a lively person putting heart and soul into everything she did. Her beautiful personality shone through to all who met her. Sadie her dog was never far from her side when working in the park and also when cakes and biscuits were around. Anna’s happy smile and cheerful personality will be sorely missed by us all.
The Friends of Rickerby Park requested that a commemorative copper beech tree should be planted in the park by her parents Nigel and Jenny in Anna’s memory.
