Well it is February and the Snowdrops have appeared bowing their heads to the snow and bitter winds also with them are crocus doing quite well in the sheltered spots but those seen on the flood plain grow much lower to the ground and are buffeted by the wind. By the river are left pockets of ice where the river has risen and then fallen leaving these wonderful ice shapes these will be gone as the temperature rises today.
